What to do if a parked car is causing a hazard

Some parking problems are merely inconvenient; others create a genuine hazard by blocking visibility, access or traffic.
CarAlert exists for exactly this awkward gap: you can see the vehicle and its registration, but you do not know the owner and should not need their personal details just to pass on a useful warning.
What to do
- 1Assess whether there is immediate danger.
- 2Do not stand in traffic or put yourself at risk.
- 3If urgent, contact the appropriate authority.
- 4If the issue is a non-emergency problem the owner could quickly correct, send a CarAlert as an additional heads-up.

- Avoid directing traffic unless you are authorised and it is safe.
