To renew motor tax you need details such as your Motor Tax PIN, your Vehicle Registration Certificate (VRC) number, or your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). All we keep is the expiry date you choose to save.

Renewal notices and PINs come from Motor Tax Online
Your renewal notice and PIN are issued by Motor Tax Online in the month your tax expires. Our reminders are a prompt to act — the official notice and PIN still reach you the usual way.
What we store
- The motor-tax expiry date you enter and confirm.
- Your private nickname for the vehicle and its reg.
- Your reminder preferences.
What we never store
- Your Motor Tax PIN.
- Your VRC number or VIN.
- Any payment or tax credentials.
