CarAlert turns a registration plate into a private communication route without turning it into a public identity lookup.
CarAlert exists for exactly this awkward gap: you can see the vehicle and its registration, but you do not know the owner and should not need their personal details just to pass on a useful warning.
What to do

- 3The community member enters the registration and sends an alert.
- 4CarAlert routes the notification to the registered owner.
- 5The owner can act on the information without either side needing to exchange personal contact details.
